Denmark is a Nordic Country, located in southwest of Sweden and bordered to the south by Germany. Denmark is a very safe place and was recently ranked as the happiest country in the world. Denmark has an academic tradition Based on Innovation and high quality education. Denmark covers a total area of 42,916 square kilometers with 5,627,235 total populations. Denmark is perhaps equally famous for its food, tradition, film and sports. In Denmark, higher education is focused on bringing about solutions for the real world.     Education System

    As an international student in Denmark you will be met by the up to date learnings where you can learn from industrial experts and undertake internships in internationally recognized organizations. Furthermore, global partnerships between higher education institutions, businesses, science parks and public research institutes ensure that study and research in Denmark reflect the latest knowledge and meet the needs of a global labor markets. Danish Higher Education institutions offer more than 500 courses in English Language.

    Intakes

    For undergraduate studies, the admission deadline is 15 March for courses starting in August or September. A few institutions have additional intakes in January or February. For those courses, the deadline is 1 September. The application forms are available from the institutions approximately two months prior to the deadline. For post graduate studies deadlines vary from institutions to institution.

    Accomodation

    Any international students should start look for accommodations a month before they arrive. Students can rent a room or sub rent a room with Danish student or Landlord. Students hall of residents is also an option. Whether you live in a room, students residence hall or in Apartment, you have to cater for yourself. In bigger cities it is hard to get a room in August and September so; they have to book their accommodation a month prior to their arrival.

    Study & Work

    Students are required to cover their entire living expenses: meals, accommodation, transport, books, materials and clothing, and any other living costs. Many students in Denmark hold a part-time job (20 hrs per week). As an international student in Denmark you too will have the right to work while you live here. You will also have the opportunity to seek full-time employment when you have completed your studies.

    Minimum +2 passed securing 50% above in exaggerate for Undergraduate Level and Bachelor degree completed for Post Graduate Level At least 6 (min 5.5 in each band)

    International students are eligible for admission to undergraduate programs if they hold qualifications comparable to a Danish qualifying examination. All programs require a high proficiency in English For admission to programs in Danish, student must also prove sufficient command of Danish by taking The Study test of Danish as a Foreign or The Danish Test 2.
